My BABY is 5!

Shep turned 5 years old May 1st! I can't believe the "baby" of our family is a big 5 year old. He'll begin Kindergarten this year. Crazy. We had a wonderful day. He and I had a lunch date at a local pizza place. I love spending one on one time with each of my kids.

We then headed over for some play time at a place called Pretend Play City. Shep had the most fun in the animal doctor area. I love watching him use his imagination.

Of course he jumped in the bouncy house for a while.

Time for presents! All he asked for this year was a Buzz Lightyear doll. He got it! And his Grampy and Grandma got him the Woody doll to go along with it.

 Strawberry shortcake birthday cake! Yum!

After dinner and presents and cake, he said " Thanks ya'll guys for making my birthday so great.". I  MELTED. What a sweet boy he is. I 'm so proud and blessed to be his mommy.

Where has the time gone...

Wow! A year and a half of silence here on Angel Babies. It surely hasn't been boring around here for the past 18 months. I've had lots I could blog about but, just haven't had the desire to do so. I think facebook has ruined blogging for me. I can be there and post photos and then I come here and don't really want to repeat myself. Recently, I went back on my facebook posts to find something I wrote about one of the kids and I couldn't find it. I realized I have been using this blog as a scrapbook of sorts to keep up with our life. Facebook is not the place for that.

So I've decided to try and make a habit of coming here with photos and updates on the kids and our life. One day maybe I can print this out into a book for them to have.

There is no way I can go back and catch up this full year so I'm just starting new.

.
Most recently, GG graduated Kindergarten!

She is so excited to be done and now she's a FIRST GRADER!
I can't believe how time flies. She's struggled a bit this year. Only with the behavior of her class. Apparently at school, she's not the wild woman she is at home. At school she likes it calm and quiet and is eager to learn and help. Some of her classmates struggle with obedience and she has a hard time with it. Her teacher has been so wonderful and made this school year really good for her. She's a reader now! And she's really into math at the moment.

We are so proud of our little G-nut peanut!
