My precious family
We had family worship at church today so we took G.G. in with us. At one point I looked over at our beautiful oldest daughter and then to my sweet husband holding our baby and tears filled my eyes. I am so blessed to have this family. I thank God every day for them.
Oh how I love these girls.
You can't tell in this picture, but, Sophie and I dressed alike today. She won't want to do that many more times I'm sure, so I really thought it was great. We were wearing white skirts and brown tanks with jean jackets. She thought of it, my little fashionista.
We ushered at church this morning and G.G. didn't want to take her sunglasses off. She's a rock star.
Easter Morning Fun
Happy Easter!
Sophie loves her new Webkinz
We had a good morning. It was a little rushed, but good. Josh has been out of town working but he surprised us Friday by coming home for the weekend. He did have to leave right after church this morning though. We tried coloring eggs with G.G. last night. Not much fun. I should have known better. She has been sick and a little cranky these days, so that added to it. She kept saying the dye was "juice" and got very upset when I wouldn't let her drink it after she dropped her egg in it!

Road Trip
We took a little road trip this weekend. Josh is working out of town, so we decided to drive down and spend some time with him. Sophie is on Spring Break. I was hesitant to go due to the fact that I am 8 months pregnant. I didn't listen to my inner voice and we went. Mistake. It wasn't too bad, but I just can't handle traveling right now. It was about a 6 hour drive and I was so swollen by the time we got there. Also, being 8 months pregnant and traveling with an 18 month old doesn't equal fun. Sophie was wonderful though. She really, really , really helped me.
I didn't take any pictures except for on our way back. We stopped halfway and spent the night with my brother and sister in law in Atlanta. We miss them sooo much. G.G. was ( & still is) sick with a cold.( Megan, I hope ya'll didn't get it!:):) )
The kids had a great time. I wish we could have stayed longer, but, I needed to be home. I took a video of Hattie and G.G. driving around in Hattie's battery powered car. I just thought it was so funny. They are only 10 months apart and I could just see them in 15 years really driving around together having fun.

The Kiddos
Sophie
- She is anxiously awaiting her trip to Washington D.C. ( & so is mom, but not for the same reasons:)).
- She has aced every one of her spelling pre-tests for the past several weeks, meaning she doesn't have to take the big tests on Fridays. She is very happy about this.
- She is going to church camp this summer and she is thrilled about it.
- I can't believe how tall she is getting. In September she was 5' 2", I believe, and she has definitely had a growth spurt since then. It's crazy.
- She amazes me every day with her sweet spirit.
G.G.
- She gets funnier and funnier every day.
- She is beginning to put two words together. She says "mama's juice", "G.G. juice", "bye sissy", "bye, bye G.G.", " down bath" ( after dinner).
- She can identify her eyes, nose, mouth, ears, hair, head, arm, leg and now neck.
- She refers to animals by the sound they make. If she sees a cat she says " a meow" , if she sees a dog she says " a ruff".
- She LOVES her sister. If Sophie is down in her room, she walks around yelling in a loud voice " SISSY!". It's really cute.
Angel baby #3
- Kicking and moving like crazy.
- I think I've gained about 18 pounds so far. Monday is my next appt. and I know I've gained this past month.
- I can't sleep at night anymore. Not only do I have to go to the bathroom about 42 times every night, I'm having crazy pregnancy dreams when I do sleep. I'm sooo uncomfortable!
- This poor baby doesn't have a nursery yet. We are just going to get a bassinet for our room and not be too worried about the room just yet.
- We just can't wait to meet our newest little blessing!
Sunny Days
We enjoyed a wonderful family day at the park after church on Sunday. We took a picnic and the kids played.
I try to steer G.G. to other parts of the park before she finds the sandbox. Once she's there, she really doesn't want to leave.
Since Sophie was with her, she was more interested in playing on other things.
Sophie is such a good big sister. She really enjoys playing with G.G. and takes such good care of her.
I'm a lucky momma.
