So I need to be one of "those" moms and brag shamelessly about my daughter for a moment. Ya'll, she got straight A's on her report card this semester. She has worked so hard and I am so proud of her. And she is proud of herself, which is the most important thing. She is on the honor roll and they'll have an assembly this week. So here's to my little Sophie Sunshine! Love you with all my heart!

Sick of being Sick

Well, I fought this off all winter and now it has taken hold of me. I have a cold. Yuck. I hate being sick.I have so much to do and my husband is out of town working. So, I can't really take anything to help me at night. I have to hear the baby. Today I feel a little better. Just praying the kids don't get it.

Family Fun

We had a fun family weekend in Savannah Georgia. My husband is working in Georgia for the next few weeks so we decided to take a quick trip to visit. I had never been there and really ended up loving it. We stayed in downtown Savannah and enjoyed walking around and looking at the old buildings. We shopped and walked down on River Street. It was beautiful. The weather was perfect. The baby was so good. We all had a really good time.

We tried to eat at Paula Dean's restaurant " The Lady & Sons" but it was a really long wait. So I just took a picture instead.

I am so blessed with such a wonderful family. My girls were such good travelers. It was great to see my husband. We really miss him when he's gone. But he'll be home in a few weeks. All in all in was a great mini vacation.

Happy Half Birthday Baby!

G.G. is a 1/2 year old! These are her six month pictures. We went to the Dr. yesterday and she is healthy and perfect. She had her shots but she did really well with them. I always worry so much about that. She weighs 17 pounds 9 ounces and is 27 inches long. If she'd just sleep through the night, it would all be perfect :). She has her two bottom teeth and the top ones are on their way.
