    This is my submission for iheartfaces this week. First, I need to apologize to the ABD (Angel Babies Daddy). This photo makes him sad. But it's really not that sad though. She was throwing on heck of a two year old tantrum. I did something horrible like asked her not to take toys away from her brother. So then what did this mother of the year do?? Grabbed her camera and took pictures of the tantrum. Such a sweet mommy. Anyway, head over to ihearfaces to see even more great pouters.

Our sweet Shep has had so many, many problems with his ears his short little life.  So yesterday, we had to get tubes. I hope that they do what they are supposed to do and he starts to feel better. I do think he is a little already. He's not pulling at his ears like he was. 

He is almost 11 months old. Crazy how time flies. I just feel like it was yesterday that he was brand new and then sometimes I feel like he's been with us forever. He is such a sweet funny little boy. He says "uh-oh", "daddy", "momma", "sissy", what sounds like "g.g.", "wow", "yay". He waves bye bye. He plays pat-a-cake and itsy bitsy spider. He loves balls and cars. He gives his mommy the best kisses ever. He's just my boy and I am so very much in love with him.

We just returned from a wonderful Spring Break trip. More on that later. For now, this is my beautiful daughter Sophie. I snapped this of her in the pool one day. It was an indoor pool with lots of windows on a sunny day. No flash needed.

The Cousins

Friday night we headed east to spend a little time with the cousins. The kids had a great time together and we grown ups had a little fun as well. I didn't take as many pictures as I thought. Just enjoying spending time with everyone.

My Boy

Well, we got the dreaded news today. Shep has to get tubes in his ears. He has had an ear infection for almost 2 months now. He has gone through 4 rounds of antibiotics and his left ear just won't get better. I hate it for him. I think we are not worried so much about the tubes but just putting him to sleep for the procedure. That scares me. I've talked to a lot of people today though who have assured me he should be just fine and that the tubes were a lifesaver for their kids. 

 

He is such a sweet little boy. He is almost 10 1/2 months old now. I can't believe how big he is getting. Today he weighed 22 lbs 15 oz. He loves to say  "Yay!" and "Wow!". He is into everything. Pulling up and walking around the coffee table and along the couch. He loves to play chase. He loves to pull his sisters hair. He giggles and laughs all the time. He gives lots of kisses. He waves and says "Bye Bye".  All he really wants to play with are balls and cars. He flips GGs baby stroller over to spin the wheels! And, he LOVES his Daddy.

It's another week at I Heart Faces.

This week is Creative Crop. I think I'm way out of my league here, no beginner category this week, but it's fun to look at all the great photos. If anyone would like to give me some constructive criticism, advice etc., it would be much appreciated.

This is our little 10 month old Shep. He is having his first taste of blueberries today. And he loved them. He wasn't too messy, but good enough.

It's been a while....

Oh, yes, it has. We have had a crazy month. Lots of sickness going on around here. Ear infections, sinus infections, pulled muscles ( in my back) and to top it all off, GG fell and had to get 4 stitches in her head. So I haven't been taking pictures, much less posting them. But hopefully we are back.

 Today is March 1st.

 And Shep is 10 months old today. Happy 10 months baby boy! I can't believe it. You are growing so fast. You say DaDa, Mama, what sounds like GG, uh-oh and you are moving everywhere. On the go, all the time. And such a sweet boy. Can't imagine my life without you in it. Love you!

Next piece of news is that it snowed in Alabama today. And it snowed a lot. It was GG's first snow to play in. Shep couldn't go out in it because he has a cold and a little fever today. But Sophie and GG and Mommy and Daddy had fun. ( we took turns watching Shep and playing with the girls). So , lots of pictures ahead. Oh, also, my sweet sweet hubby came home yesterday and handed me a package. I have been wanting a new camera, and that's what it was! A new Nikon SLR camera. I LOVE it and have had so much fun today using it.
