Finally! We've been getting some sleep at night. I may have figured out the problem. At least part of the problem with the teething. You know we've moved and so I am having to find all new doctors for all of us. I found a pediatrician and went to her for the first time at G.G.'s 4 month check up. We talked about teething and she told me when it started to get bad to rub Infant Benadryl on her gums. She said it tasted better and worked better to numb their gums. So, I've been doing that. After several nights of absolutely no sleep thinking that her gums were killing her and so rubbing more benadryl on them, duh, light bulb. Maybe the benadryl is doing this. She can't go to sleep. So I stopped doing that and the past two nights have been heaven. She does wake up one time and I nurse her and then she is down for the rest of the night.
So I think I'll be listening to my mothering instincts a little more.

So glad you have hopefully discovered what was making her uncomfortable! Hope you continue to get some good sleep! My 2 month old has done 8ish pm to 7am the past 2 nights! Pure heaven!

Isn't it amazing what makes us happy now! Just a little sleep, that's all we ask!
so glad that you figured that out!! I just wish my little E would sleep through the night so bad!!!
well, it hasn't lasted very long. it's really bad again. last night she was up every couple of hours. i know it has to be teething. how many times is your babe up at night? i bet he is getting so big!
the motto of parenthood. "don't get used to it" but i totally agree with the instincts! i've learned not to ignore those too.
