Shep fell asleep during tummy time

I walked in Shep's room the other day and found this. G.G. had dumped all his little toys out and was sitting in the toy box. 

Umm... I don't really know what to do about this. He soothes himself like this now. Do I replace the thumb with a paci? Do I even worry about it? It's really sweet right now.

This was her first experience with licking the beater. Yummy.. homemade chocolate chip cookies.

A couple of weeks ago we went to visit family in Kentucky. We had a wonderful time with everyone. These are just a few snapshots below.

This is Rosie the kitty cat. Every morning Papa Bill and GG would go outside and feed her.

A serious addiction to popsicles began this week.

While we were in Kentucky, GG got strep throat and we made a trip to the ER. Of course Josh wasn't with me because he was home working. So, thanks to everyone for helping me out so much. We did have a really good time. Sophie starts middle school next week. I cannot believe the summer is over. I'm so sad. I love having her home. So stay tuned, we'll have more Whiting adventures coming soon.

We have two big gardenia bushes right outside our front door. They just began to bloom and they are beautiful and smell so good.

We are getting ready for my brothers wedding this weekend. I think these are the outfits they are going to wear. If anyone know a good place to buy brother/ sister outfits that match, let me know.

Shep took a bath in the big tub for the first time last night. I couldn't get the picture to upload, but he was so cute. He smiled a little and really loved it. 

We went for a walk in our neighborhood last night. It is VERY hilly and it let me know real quick that I am way out of shape. I was a little embarrassed. But we are going to do it every day, so hopefully I'll get better with it. 

I really want to lose weight, a lot of weight. I need to. So I am officially announcing it here so I can be somewhat accountable for it.  I've already lost about 25 pounds from having the baby. I think I gained over 35. 

So, we'll see how it goes!
